Sad News and a Schedule Change

It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the passing of a dear friend and a blues legend Joe Louis Walker. His loss will be felt throughout the blues world and beyond… It gives me great sadness to announce the show Saturday May 10th at The Bell Theater is cancelled.

At the risk of being self indulgent I want to share a few words about Joe, he was an inspiration to me from the moment I met him. So much so, he was a guest on my album DETONATION on my song “Doin’ Hard Time” where we did a duet. You can hear us trading verses and guitar solos. Between you and me, he blew me away LOL! I will never forget him saying to me at the recording session, “Awww Dave, you and I are both just manic guitar players!” HAHAHAH!. Omg Joe… I am going to miss you so much… Thank you for sharing so much with me and everyone you touched…. You will always have a special place in my heart…
